If you have plans to visit Detroit for the 2014 North American International Auto Show this month, be sure to stop by the Acura display where the all-new 2015 Acura TLX model will debut, replacing two current models.
Designed as a modern, sporty mid-size luxury sedan with two highly advanced powertrain options and outfitted with a multitude of technological features, the 2015 Acura TLX consolidates the Acura TL and Acura TSX models and refines the company’s range of sporty, luxury sedans into three distinct models: the Acura ILX, an entry point into the range of luxury sport sedans; the Acura TLX mid-size sports sedan; and the company’s flagship sedan model, the Acura RLX performance luxury sedan.
Drivers in and around Redwood City and those looking for an Acura TL near San Mateo will love our dealerships current offerings like the 2014 Acura TL and the 2014 Acura TSX will surely enjoy the new 2015 Acura TLX model’s more evocative, sportier styling that retains the comfortable and roomy interior dimensions of the popular Acura TL model, as well as its two higher-performance, more efficient engine options. The 2015 Acura TLX will be available with two-wheel or all-wheel drive for great handling regardless of road conditions. In addition, the new 2015 Acura TLX will feature a broad range of advanced amenities and technologies.
“This all-new Acura TLX is the perfect blend of style and muscle with its elegant, well-proportioned exterior that cloaks the true sport sedan chassis and powertrain beneath… The sporty characteristics that customers found appealing in the TSX are even more pronounced in this aggressive new TLX,” said Mike Accavitti, Senior Vice President, who will speak at the press conference held by Acura during the 2014 North American International Auto Show.
The 2015 Acura TLX Prototype model was designed in the company’s Los Angeles Design Studio, while development of the production model is being carried out by the company’s Research and Development Center in Ohio. The new 2015 Acura TLX will be built at the company’s manufacturing facility in Marysville, Ohio, which builds the outgoing Acura TL luxury sedan.
The 2015 Acura TLX will be available in Acura showrooms like ours here at Hopkins Acura during the second half of 2014.
